Foods that Cause you to Lose Weight
“The fat you eat, is the fat you wear.” Dr. John McDougall
Do you think it is possible to eat MORE to weigh LESS? It is possible and enjoyable, the overall dietary changes are simple but it may take some time to transition. The way to eat more to weigh less is to eat mostly whole-food, plant-based foods: Fruits, vegetables, whole-grains, and legumes (beans, peas, lentils).
What these simple steps do is cut way down on fat, reduce protein content moderately, and give us a metabolic boost of carbohydrates, plus tons of fiber.
Unless you are over-stuffing yourself, you can enjoy unlimited quantities of foods. If you really are overeating, you will need to address the psychological factors that prevent you from treating your body better.
To get the results you want, don’t water down these guidelines. Adding occasional servings of chicken or French fries will erode your progress. Give yourself the best!
Now for the most important part of the food prescription: Cut out the fats and oils! They are packed with unnecessary concentrations of fat and calories.
In addition to healthy food, it is also important to aim for walking at least 30 minutes daily.
